About us
Agency For Development Research Innovation and Training (ADRIT) LTD was formerly known as Agency for Development Research (ADR) LTD. ADRIT is an organization registered in Kenya that provides expertise in Research and Training on development interventions.
The organization was born out of the need to strengthen research and usage of research results in development interventions and to provide both innovation and capacity development for humanitarian and development actors in their quest to create lasting impact in the lives of the communities where they work. ADRIT begun as Behaviour Change Consult (BCC) working largely in Somalia with WVS before it included research into its training to become ADR LTD. With innovation and Training added to its identity, Saharan Africa Region.
We are founded on the understanding that continuous research inspires creation of knowledge, innovation and technology that enable communities, organizations and nations to achieve more sustainable development now and in the future
ADRIT now is more complete in its capacity to deliver support to development actors in their quest to promote wellbeing around the world. These changes have inspired the organization to grow and become one of the leading development research organizations in Kenya and the Sub
ADRIT has built robust technical, leade rship and operational competencies in designing and executing Program Design and Planning, Community Based Surveys, Thematic Studies, Data Management, Report Writing, Monitoring Evaluation and Learning as well Building Program Teams in the several sectors of development interventions as well as in emergencies. In recognition of the multi-faceted nature of development interventions ADRIT brings together professionals from a multi Sectoral background so as to conceptualize and deliver research and training products that are integrated in nature and meaning.
